    DIY MC?

Would anyone share an example where a performer puts in a medial caesura (or much more of one) at an appropriate spot where there appears to be none (or little) in the score? One example I've enjoyed playing for students recently is Ekaterina Derzhavina's frolicsome recording of the first movement of Haydn's XVI: 27, as part of her complete Haydn cycle for Profil released three years ago. If you have a Naxos Music Library subscription, you can probably find it there.

    Thanks,
